Luc Divemaster TraineeBye Bye Nusa Lembongan, bye bye manta, bye bye Mola Mola, bye bye Thresher Shark, bye bye Whale Shark.
Hello Bunaken, hello Open Water students, Hello DSD, Hello swimming pool.

Second Act of my Two Fish Divers DMT: Arrived in Bunaken in the afternoon, did my Exam part two in the evening, theory done!

The Day after, two fun dives: heaps of turtles, eagle rays, pigmy seahorse, few leaf fish, electric clam, nudiz, cuttle fish, 40m visibility, great introduction!

Third day, assisting Open Water course (theory + Confined Water dives), then “clean up” snorkelling in the afternoon. More than 80 kg of everything in less than 40 minutes: my 20 units snorkelers brigade did well. Sort and select everything once back at the resort, weight, write down a report for PADI Project Aware.

My job here is very diverse, welcoming guests, Dive Center General Briefing, Dive site Briefing, Boat Briefing, assisting courses, advising customers about dive computers or diving specialties, and of course some fun dives.

After few days out of the water because of an external ear infection (not in the PADI manual but definitely something to learn about…), I’m back to the water, assisting Marco and Theresia during their 103m deep Tec dive. I went down to… 12m to check if everything was alright with them on their deco stops.

Tomorrow, I’ll be assisting another two Open Water courses, one in the pool for the morning, another in open water in the afternoon.

PS: The food here is awesome.
