THIS WEEK IN LEMEBH…it surely is Frogfish crazy in Lembeh with up to six on one dive! We’ve seen a great variety… Our favourite, the Hairy Frogfish has made an appearance (two of them!) – as well as Shaggy, Clown, Painted, Freckled, Giant and Warty variations.
We’ve had a couple of rainy days but that doesn’t stop us – or the critters for that matter! We’ve had a couple of great days diving on the Mawali Wreck with even a turtle and some huge Yellow -tail Barracudas spotted on there, both of which are quite uncommon in Lembeh. Coming back to the macro life we’ve seen Wunderpus, Coconut Octopus, Tozuma Shrimp, Tiger Shrimp, Pygmy Seahorses, Picachu Nudis (Thecacera for the nudi buffs out there), Robust and Ornate Ghost Pipefish, Ambon Scorpionfish, Flamboyant Cuttlefish, Seahorses, Algae Octopus and many more!
We have some more familiar faces here again this week as Jan from Australia came back to visit us and the critters as well as Michael from Denmark… His girlfriend Sarah came this time too and completed her PADI Advanced Open Water course with instructor Dion :) Well done Sarah!
