OCTOPUS COME OUT TO PLAY IN LEMBONGAN
THIS WEEK IN LEMBONGAN…… Randy, one of our professional dive guides, has had the lucky wandering eye this week, picking out the rare juvenile Scorpion Leaf Fish, quite a few turtles and a large octopus out for a swim. We have also seen Nudibranchs, Candy Crabs, Porcelain Crabs and Orang Utan Crabs.
We have had some quite spectacular waves on the south side of the island which has only enhanced the excitement and adventure of finding Manta Rays. With many of our guest cursing the waves to spot the beautiful giants while snorkel. One trip was lucky enough to encounter 7 Manta Rays at Manta Bay.
The waves have kept us doing a lot of dives on the north side which has provided us an amazing contrast of conditions. We have had nice warm water, averaging around 28 degrees. Gentle currents to ease the divers along the reef making diving even more effortless
Joannie and Yanick from Canada have spent the week diving with us. Apart from being excellent divers they are also great musicians and treated us to a little concert around the pool. See photos on our Facebook page. Thank you again it was fantastic. We hope you enjoy the rest of your travels in Asia.
Sarah and Marius enjoyed their discover scuba diving experience so much that they went straight on to do the Open Water Course with instructors Stephanie and Karoline. After sharing his breakfast with the fish (sea sick) Philip jumped in the water for a 74 min Discover Scuba Dive. Hope to see you again soon Philip, to complete your open water!
