A mix of cool drift dives and some hip creatures sitting in the Bunaken coral walls made our divers happy See the picture of the giant frogfish at dive site Lekuan II which our guest Mary Nell took! Thanks very much Mary Nell!
We also had an Open water course this week. Charlotte, Frederik and Joackim did a great job and joined the underwater world with instructor Yayan. They had some amazing dives and saw lots of turtles, lionfish, tons of reef fish and joined their husband and dad Richard on a couple of fun dives. They got really confident in the water and love it!
For a couple days we hosted an Indonesian group of 11 guests and they had a lot of fun around the resort and out on the sea. 8 snorkelers enjoyed the huge amount of reef fish around the coral walls of Bunaken. It is great to see local people that have an interest in the amazing underwater world of Indonesia.
It was time again to do a “Dive Against Debris” on our adopted dive site “Muka Kampung”. Ten divers and snorkelers collected about 20kg of debris and did an outstanding job. While picking up some plastic our guests enjoyed the nice corals and the amazing marine life at Muka Kampung and also could give back something to nature! Well done and thanks very much for your help to keep our oceans clean!
