Bas Divemaster TraineeAfter stepping on the boat and saying goodbye to Bunaken, I started my little trip towards Lembeh.

After a short boat ride and a two hour drive by car I arrived at the harbour. Where i could see the boat that was to pick me up in the distance. In my imagination was the distance to Lembeh much greater but it took around 10 minutes to get from the one side to the other.

Sylvia Divemaster TraineeIn the last week of my course I found time to relax a bit and mix “business with pleasure”.  I made a creation to put into the artificial house reef and sunk it.

I particularly liked the scuba review: all of a sudden you’re the one that’s  teaching skills to others. Realising this put a smile on my face and I had a great time doing it.

Imogen Divemaster InternMy last week and a half (yes, I extended my stay by six days because I couldn’t bear to leave) in Lembeh has been absolutely fantastic. I got the rest of my course requirements completed – guiding certified divers, scuba review, assisting on continued education and my skills and rescue assessment.
