“Challenging” and “rewarding” best describe the PADI Rescue Diver course. The course develops your knowledge and skills so that you will become a complete diver – someone who can look after themselves as well as others in the water by effectively performing diver assists and rescues, managing diving accident situations and giving first aid. The course is an important step in expanding your knowledge and experience as a diver, and we think that every diver should get to the level of Rescue Diver as it makes you completely self-sufficient in terms of rescuing yourself and others. PADI Rescue Diver (or equivalent) certification is also a prerequisite for all PADI Divemaster and Instructor programs.
• Self rescue
• Recognizing and managing stress in other divers
• Emergency management and equipment
• Rescuing panicked divers
• Rescuing unresponsive divers
The theory part of the course is covered by the course manual and video, and the practical part of the course consists of 10 Rescue Skills and 2 Rescue Scenarios. The PADI Rescue Diver course can be done as a 4/5 day course, and we normally include a couple of fun dives for free as part of the course. You can also take the Rescue Diver course with the eLearning option, in this case the course will only take 2 days.
We have developed a new rescue Course package that is run over 5 days, this is the fastest time that we can run the course with the quality that we want to offer. The package also includes 4 x fun dives, and we are offering a special price of EUR18 per dive (normal price EUR22.50) for any extra fun diving that you do during these 5 days!

The MSD rating is the highest PADI non-professional rating for scuba divers. For those who want to go into the dive business to work then the divemaster course should be the first level to aim for. However, for those who just want to have fun and want to extend their knowledge and experience in their hobby, then the MSD is the level to aim for.
