Lembeh - Muck Diving capital of the World
Lembeh Straits is known as the muck diving capital of the world. This means that there are alot of sites which are sandy slopes, often with black sand, and the viz is 10-15m. Due to the black sand it is perfect for photographers as this reduces back-glare, and this is why many photographers like coming to dive Lembeh.
It is also one of the few places in the world where you will see unusual creatures such as hairy frog fish, pygmy sea horse, large sea horses and flambouyant cuttlefish to name a few.
Some of our favourite muck sites include Police Pier, Pantai Parigi, Jahir, Retak Larry, Teluk Kembahu 1 and 2 and Hair ball 1 and 2.
Lembeh also has some great ship wrecks. Most of these are covered in corals and critters so are good as wrecks as well as critter-hunting. The wrecks inlude Bimoli wreck, Kapal indah and Mawali wreck.
Last but not least, there are also some sites that have small walls and slopes with soft corals such as Nudi Falls, Nudi Retreat and Angels Window.
Basically there is diving for everyone.

Small groups of no more than 4 guests per dive guide

Expert diveguides who have done thousands of dives in the Lembeh area. They are all rescue trained, and we have oxygen and first aid on every dive boat.

Organise dive groups according to air consumption and dive experience.

Friendly crew with the boat crew and dive guides. They speak great english, and provide a great service above and below the sea.

Long dives, we just ask you to surface after 75mins or on 40bar.

Spcecial for Photographers - when possible, we will provide you with your own guide for spotting and carrying those accessories.
Dive Courses in Lembeh Straits

Peak performance bouyancy for only €20 with 2 dives - because the bottom of alot of the sites is sandy, you need to have good bouyancy to avoid kicking up a cloud of sand that can reduce your visibility to less than 5m

Wreck diving for only €68 with 4 dives - there are some great wreck here, some are large at 90m long, and all offer some adventurous penetration options

If you are doing a combo-visit, we would be happy to spread your course over our two centers in Lembeh and Bunaken, but we can only run the Go Pro courses (DiveMaster and Assistant Instructor) from our operation in Bunaken.
