Become the best diver you can
Master Scuba Diver (MSD) is PADI’s highest non-professional recreational diving certification. For those who want to go into the dive business to work then the divemaster course may be the first level to aim for. However, for those who just want to have fun and want to extend their knowledge and experience in their hobby, then the MSD is the level to aim for. This is what the best of the best reach for, because the dive possibilities are endless.
Requirements for becoming a MSD
To become a Master Scuba Diver, students must log 50 dives and complete the following PADI courses – Open Water Diver, Advanced Open Water Diver, Rescue Diver and five PADI specialty courses.
Being a MSD means being a member of PADI - once you have reached the necessary requirements, you need to apply to PADI for the rating, and as a member of PADI you receive quarterly mailings with news, magazine and special offers.
