Two Fish Divers on Bunaken Island is a tropical-island resort right by the beach, and is based in a beautiful garden surroundings.

We get stunning views of the sea, and since most of the dive sites are only 10 minutes its a really relaxing dive holiday.

Dive Centre

Our dive centre is a purpose-built, traditional-style building that is the centre of dive operations - it is where you will check your equipment in the equipment room, plan your dives, review what you saw in our library of fish-books and relax with a drink at the end of the day in the cafe.

Cottages and Rooms

The resort is right by the beach in a beautiful garden setting, and our cottages are traditional-style wooden bungalows that are clean and comfortable with balconies and hammocks. We have 5 types of accommodation available:

  • Superior cottages - large wooden cottages with triple bedroom suitable for up to 3 persons, fan and en-suite bathroom (shower & western-style toilet)

  • Superior cottage - Family Size - one large wooden cottage that can sleep up to 4 persons, with fan and en-suite bathroom (shower & western-style toilet)

  • Standard cottages - wooden cottages with double/twin bedroom, fan and en-suite bathroom (shower & western-style toilet)

  • Standard rooms - concrete rooms with tiled floors in the main building, very large and can easily accommodate triple share, with fan and en-suite bathroom (shower & western-style toilet)

  • Budget rooms - concrete rooms with tiled floors in the main building, suitable for double/twin share, with fan and shared bathroom (shower & western-style toilet)

I could have stayed there. It was so HARD to leave. It paid off to stay 2 weeks. The dive help became really friendly and close. If we stayed 3 weeks

What's the food like?

You are visiting a remote island in Indonesia, and we want to give you a taste of Bunaken Island therefore all our cooks are from Bunaken Island and they cook local food (but not as hot as the locals like it!).

We vary our menu with main dishes of fish, chicken, eggs, meat as well as with some vegetarian dishes such as tofu and tempe. All main dishes are served with rice, vegetables and salad. We are happy to cater for any dietary requirements - just tell us when you arrive.

Pelagic fish only - we do not serve reef fish because we want to discourage the locals not to fish the reef. We therefore only buy pelagic fish from the locals (eg tuna, mackeral, barracuda and trevally), and its really fresh as they bring it straight to the resort after they have caught it!

Occasionally we get something very special - below is a picture of a black marlin that one of the locals caught, and this was with a hand-line on a small 2m-long boat!
