I’m already halfway through my Divemaster course, seems like yesterday that I arrived from Sweden. I pretty much spent the first weeks learning my way around the dive shop and the different routines with all the gear and guests, and of course a lot of diving, which for me meant that I first of all had to learn how to use the BCD for buoyancy and not the drysuit that I usually use back home. Also trying to get used to seeing so much fish on every single dive!
Honestly, When people decide to do their DMT, first thought is: “Cool, I’ll do a lot of Fun Dives, and for free!”. Well…
THIS WEEK IN LEMBONGAN!!! WOW So we had our first excursion to Tulamben yesterday and that was a BIG success. Pygmy seahorse and ornate ghostpipefish to name some of the cool fish around that wreck.
We have had our first Nitrox course here in Lembongan and yesterday whilst one boat was at Tulamben having all kinds of wreck fun, another boat in local waters had 5 (thats 5!) Mola mola at Buyuk on Nusa Penidas north coast. It’s just too cool at the moment, too cool!
(ps thank you Steve for the pic of this guy!!)
Find out more about diving Lembongan with us to see the Mola-mola or do a day-trip to Tulamben.
We just had one of our Divemaster interns leave, Helen from Australia. She spent 4weeks with us in both Bunaken and Lembeh, and this is her diary.
First day of Divemaster Course and I’m amped!
Wake up to 2 fun dives – awesome!
That afternoon I sat down with my instructor and was given my Divemaster Pack, my eyes popped out of my head. I asked “will I finish all this in 4 weeks?” Answer – Yes. With a confident instructor and a well laid out timetable, its possible
