SCWe are pleased to welcome Sybille to the Two Fish team at our resort in Lembeh. She joined us on 5 Dec to look after the cottages, general facilities and resort staff.

Sybille has spent more than 20 years in the travel business and has dived all over Asia, and understands very well  what guests want from a resort.

“Having spent alot of  time as a muck-loving guest at Two Fish Divers in Lembeh, I am incredibly excited to start working here”, Sybille says, “My aim is to ensure that Two Fish is the best budget/mid-range dive resort in Lembeh Straits.”

IE-SUCCESS In September 2008 we held our 3rd IDC on Bunaken, and we had three candidates: Laurance from UK, Laszlo from France and Carol-ann from Australia.

The PADI Instructor exam was held soon after at Kima Bajo, Manado with George Wegmann as the PADI examiner. All three of our candidates passed, maintaining or 100% pass rate!

Congratulations to all three new instructors, and thanks to George for the celebratory beers!

karvis Lembeh is a great place for underwater photography.
You can add the link on your site: http://www.vire-design.fi/dive/
Most of the photos are shot in Lembeh.
And we enjoyed your hospitality and relaxed atmophere.
We’ve been recommending Lembeh and your resort for finnish divers.
We’re going to have a baby in late december – so maybe it takes a  while before we’re diving in Indonesia.
Greetings to everyone!
Sakke

(TFD: congratulations on your new baby!)

The U.S. Embassy in Jakarta informs Americans that the Department of State has cancelled the Travel Warning for Indonesia effective May 23, 2008

The Department has determined that the current security climate in Indonesia no longer warrants a Travel Warning.  However, the Embassy will not modify security precautions in light of this development and urges public facilities in Indonesia to also maintain their current high level of security as terrorist threats remain.

The Embassy reminds Americans living and travelling to Indonesia that the information in the Country Specific Information (formerly Consular Information Sheet) for Indonesia as well as the Worldwide Caution still remains valid.  American citizens are urged to read the newly revised  Country Specific Information Sheet, which can be found on the Department of State’s website at http://travel.state.gov .
