If you want to try a dive but do not want to commit the time or money to the full course, then why not try the Discover Scuba Diving programme?
This programme is designed to take you on a dive so that you can discover the excitement and adventure of being underwater, something only a diver knows the feeling!
There are three parts to the program: a bit of theory that covers some of the basics about being underwater; learning some basic scuba skills in shallow water; then heading off on an open water dive to a maximum of 10-12m. You don't have to be an expert swimmer nor do you have to have had any experience of diving.
I want to do more!
If you find that diving is for you, and you want to do more, you can carry on and do more dives under the supervision of an instructor. However, if you have the time we would recommend carrying on with the PADI Open Water Course because:
the DSD programme is not a certificate, and you will have to do the same programme if you went to another location
the DSD programme is actually fully integrated into the PADI Open Water Course - it consists of the first section of the course so you have actually already started the course! We give you credit for this and will carry on the PADI Open Water Course from where the programme ends.
