This week in Bunake…Our favourite photo from our many-time repeater guest, Dymphna, is of a candy crabs at Sachiko, but our guests are actually experiencing their very own shark week in Bunaken!
In other countries you get to only watch shark action on television, but many of our guests have been privileged to see sharks during almost every dive this week. Turtles and barracuda are also gliding by, and we have also had our usual small critters around as well like pygmy seahorses, and nudies.
Amongst all this shark and critter action, the instructors have been busy teaching and we are happy to congratulate divemaster candidate Ishan for completing his PADI Deep Speciality. He made it all the way down to 40 meters without getting too much narcosis (except for the plastic bag that he thought was a jellyfish and kept pointing out to his instructor Sandy).
Then we had Isabel from China who completed her PADI Open Water Course with instructors Dion and Sandy – she was so happy to come face to face with a huge green turtle.
We are now looking forward to a busy September here at Two Fish Divers Bunaken!
