Would you believe it? Pete saw during his open water course six eagle rays at Tanjung II with instructor Dion. That is a good start into the underwater world, unfortunately he will be spoilt forever!
If 6 eagle rays was not enough, Markus had five black tips shark at a deco dive at the same time, and to top off an amazing week one of our guests Walter had a gorgeous whaleshark gently passing by and saying hello at Lekuan III!!
Our new Lembeh managers Deborah and Mark are in Bunaken at the moment and they saw seven turtles on their first dive at Muka Kampung. After working in Koh Tao for some years that was a nice change for them.
This week we welcomed Zheng who is doing her EFR & Rescue course this week and she had to give instructor several rounds of chest compressions before he showed “any sign of life” again. She will have a tough but fun time in the rescue skills and scenarios the next couple of days.
We also have Leo and Christoph here at the moment, two tech divers who will explore the deeper parts of the Bunaken walls in the hope to see some bigger fish with tech guide Markus. Fingers crossed!
