A lot of blacktip and whitetip sharks in Bunaken this week. We had a brilliant week and it really shows that we are in dry season now as we had hardly any rain in the last couple of weeks and visibility improved a lot. Therefore our divers enjoyed their dives in nice clear water with warm temperatures but also had some cold water rushing up from the deep. That helps to see whitetip and blacktip sharks even in shallower depths off the coral walls at Bunaken.
We also had some amazing drift dives and the divers could watch a fish movie on their dives.
Our dive guides still found some small critters like ornate ghost pipefish, winged pipefish, Pontohi pygmy seahorse and painted frogfish.
Congratulatios to Joana, Julie, Benoit and Julie Hamon for completing their PADI open water course and Lee completed his advanced open water with our instructors Dion and Yayan. Well done and welcome to the amazing underwater world.
