This week, our divers were extremely lucky, because they saw a Mola during one of the dives in the North of Penida, at Pura Mas Gading! In January! Not that is difficult to see Sunfishes around here, it’s just that now is not the best season to meet with them. They love cold water, as it is at depth where they spend most of the time, and at this time of the year, the water is pretty warm. So yeah, we are at the end of January and had an Off season Mola sighting at Lembongan! Some enjoyed it diving, while other divers, snorkelers and the boat crew, could have a look to the Sunfish while he/she was jumping out of the water close to the boat.
Apart from the sudden Mola, this week our Guests have enjoyed all the other wonders of our waters: Mantas, Eagle Ray, Bamboo Sharks, Turtles, corals and sponges, macro creatures.
Diving with us, we have had Krista and Dean, from the States, that are enjoying a loooonggg honeymoon around the globe, with already a backpack full of great memories and adventures. Sharon, from Darwin, have still been diving with us for a few more days, and we got Courtney and her friends that joined for some diving and snorkeling. Well, and don’t forget our Front Office guy Ludwig, that hadn’t been diving for a while and after a refresher in the pool, could dive with Mantas again!!! And other two girls from our Front Office: Meggy and Frilly were diving in our pool, and they did great! The only problem: Too much smiling underwater!:-)
And we have had Courses from all the levels: From our Instructor Candidates: Jake, Michael and Max, that by the time that this post gets published are going to be immerse in the Instructor Exam.. Good luck guys! (Although you don’t need it); to Marjukka, that completed her Open Water Course, and Michelle that has become Advanced Open Water Diver!
Also, can’t finish without mentioning Meg and Sal from California, that are staying a couple of weeks with us getting experience on teaching Scuba courses, and also learning the Managing side of the Diving Resorts. Thanks for your help, guys!
