Although still officially off season for our big weirdos, the Molas (remember, Mola Alexandrini, not Mola Mola!!!), are around and every now and then come shallower to get cleaned by the Bannerfish, and to give some joy to the lucky divers that are around. Yep, we can often say: Sunfish at Crystal Bay again.
The Mola photo in the article was taken by our Instructor/Manager Anna, and the model is our great guide Rogerus 🙂
Apart from the Molas, this week we had the usual suspects: Lots of Mantas, baby Eagle Ray, Giant Trevallies, Wobbegong Sharks, Ribbon Eels, Nudis, Leaf scorpionfish and so on… Don’t want to get you too jelaous hehehe
And we had a lot of divers. Again, so different diving levels, nationalities and ages: Doug, originally from South Africa but have been living in Australia for a long time, from where we also got Amy; Mattias, Lynn and Martin, from Sweden; Conal and Yukie from Japan; Wayne and Ben, from Singapur; Matt (an experienced Dive Instructor that we know from a long time), from England; Nico, from Germany. And, of course, the courses: Australian Finn completed his EFR and Rescue Courses; Nico and James, also from Australia, also completed their Open Water Course. And our great Divemaster Trainees, at the moment we have Chris and Ockey, are enjoying and learning at equal parts.
