In Bunaken we are paying tribute to the goby; in Lembongan the mola cleaning crew has been out in full force; in Lembeh we are busy with courses, critters and clean ups; in TEC we are going from Sidemount to rebreather; and we say goodbye to our DMT interns Chelsea & Ishan as they become PADI Divemasters.
Meanwhile, from around the globe we give you a funny look at some facts about octopus by comedian Ze Frank, we look at whether refreshers should be mandatory, and for budding treasure hunters we give you the PADI Wreck Detective Speciality course!!

THIS WEEK IN BUNAKEN – OH MY GOBY!
Divers on Bunaken are paying tribute to the littler creatures out on our magnificent walls, highlighting especially the goby! Pictured here is the common fire dart goby most often found in the rubble coral or sandy bottoms of the slopes in and around Bunaken. The goby is too easily forgotten but makes the reef all that more colourful!
THIS WEEK IN LEMBONGAN – The Cleaning Crew
THIS WEEK IN LEMBEH – Courses, Critters and Clean-up
THIS WEEK IN TEC – SIDEMOUNT TO REBREATHER
Here at Blue Label Diving Indonesia we are moving from a week of sidemount into rebreather diving. Over in Lembeh Straits, Dymphna polished off her PADI Sidemount Speciality with Sandy, as Hiro prepared ISC’s Megladon rebreather for Pek to use over on Bunaken.
The Adventures of DMT Chelsea – Wooo, I’m Divemaster
Wooo, I’m finally a Divemaster! My last week in Lembongan was very busy, but it was great to see all the signatures being signed off on my form. Day by day getting closer and closer to that final signature!
The Adventures of DMT Ishan – FINALLY A DIVEMASTER
Huge CONGRATULATIONS to Ishan who had a great day the other day in Lembeh … He finished the last of his 5 Specialties and became a Master Scuba Diver, he did his 100th dive and became a PADI DIVEMASTER all in one day! Well done Ishan!
CRITTERS – True facts about the octopus
Previously we had Cephalatastic times in Lembeh, so we thought that you might be interested in some true facts about octopus! Watch as comedian Ze Frank narrates this two-minute Web series on the octopus.
This September 2014 Project Aware carries on the tradition of the whole month being Debris Month of Action, and at Two Fish we always support this. Not only during the month of September in fact, we organise clean-up dives all year round, but we up the game a little during September!
The new PADI Open Water course has a new big push on safety and there have been some new skills added which reflect this. These new skill revolve around safety equipment, giving the newly certified divers the skills and knowledge to help keep them stay safe.
Thanks for learning with us!
Congrats to all our courses in Bunaken, Lembeh and Lembongan last week!! Hope to see you again at Two Fish Divers.
