This week in Lembeh our attention has been somewhat diverted on a couple of occasions away from the tiny critters hiding in the muck… With a juvenile Whale Shark and a Guitar Shark both being seen you could say it’s been a week of unexpected creatures!
We can find Ghost Pipefish year-round in Lembeh but we do seem to experience seemingly random periods of high numbers of certain species. This week in Lembeh the Ornate Ghost Pipefish are popping up everywhere!
This week in Lembeh we are happy to say that the Mawali Wreck has been re-discovered! The Mawali has been enjoyed by many divers in the past but a recent event caused it’s mooring line to be severed and despite numerous attempts we were unable to find the wreck…. Until now!
This week in Lembeh we have some first time muck divers and some familiar faces from previous visits, who say that Lembeh diving is better than ever! On the first day diving alone they spotted Blue Ringed Octopus, Wunderpus, Lembeh Sea Dragons, Frogfish and Seahorses!

THIS WEEK IN LEMBEH… The Blue Ringed Octopus makes a comeback! We usually find in Lembeh that Blue Ringed Octopus are either abundant or rarely spotted ( this is to do with their life cycle), and at the moment we have been experiencing the latter… The combination of fewer Blue Ringed Octopus and their superb…
