Nudie’s Nudie’s everywhere and we are loving them. Here in Sekotong this week we have been seeing an abundance of nudibranchs of all sizes, shapes and amazing colours. We all love nudibranchs because they are simply beautiful and we all like taking photos of them because they are so photogenic and of course they don’t swim away!
This week in Sekotong we had Tobi joining us from Bali on his catamaran and bringing with him three guests from Jakarta who joined us for 2 dives around the reefs in Sekotong. They were absolutely amazed with their 1st dive as they drifted along our dive site secret garden and were blown away with its lushes soft coral garden that seemed to go on forever. In fact they drifted so far that they managed to make it to the next site canyon so got to see two dive sites on one dive.
Also in Sekotong this week we been seeing some of our regulars like turtles, ornate ghost pipefish, pygmy seahorses, hairy frogfish, skeleton shrimp, bump head parrot fishes, peacock mantis shrimp, barracuda and our boat men spotted a dugong so hopefully we will get to see one underwater soon
It’s been really hot this week here with a couple of showers at night. The water is holding at 28 degrees so lots of board shorts and rash guards this week with medium currents and no waves.
